There for Tomorrow

Back in mid January, There for Tomorrow and The Undesigned got to working. Over the past three years I have worked with these guys on about three different shoots. James Lano, coincidentally has also worked with them for the past three years, fixing up their myspace and website constantly. Anyway, we figured what better project to come together on than one with the TFT boys. Before their departure for the Take Action Tour, we sat down and hammered everything out.

The first Location was in Dr. Phillips/Celebration, FL. We were able to use an empty house that was on the market due to Chris Kamrada’s mother being the seller. The inside was used for individuals and since there wasn’t a completely white wall for me to shoot those up against, I had to blow out a cream colored wall with one of my Ab’s and balance the other one to make it work. Not difficult at all but helpful in situations like that.

At the same house, we utilized the dock out back. I had only one softbox but made it work to my liking. The sun was moving fast and Jay still had to cover up his black eye before we started shooting. Thankfully I had the lovely Kayleigh Hayes making them up. You can’t even tell!

After the sun went down, the individuals were taken and the equipment was packed up, we made our way to the second location - the Millenia Mall. Now, this is definitely the nicest mall around our area and I had never thought about actually going inside to shoot. We pulled a few strings and were given permission to shoot after hours (9:00pm) as long as we didn’t steal/break anything. Chris and I visited the security HQ and were able to see the rest of the guys on camera. I swear they could zoom up to the stitching on your jeans if they needed too.

Needless to say, the mall has an overwhelming amount of areas to shoot. I didn’t plan on being there ALL NIGHT so we kept to only a couple of our favorites. The one above was the closer and the shot we were looking for all day.

People holding cameras.. haha

So, the shoot was a great success. Hopeless, TFT and the Undesigned are extremely pleased with the outcome of our first official collaboration as The Undesigned. Take a look at There for Tomorrow’s myspace and see where they’ll be playing next.

Enjoy & until next time,
Gage
