So, I haven’t been using this as often as I had originally planned but I hope this will suffice for now!

I had a shoot w/ August Burns Red for Solid State Records last week in Ybor City, FL. They were on tour with Underoath and Emery and the turnout was great. I ran into a bunch of people that I knew but hadn’t seen in a long time, so it was refreshing. We started shooting around 4:00 PM or so and right around 4:45, down came the rain. Luckily, I had already taken enough photographs so we were able to wrap it up early before my equipment became a soggy mess.

A couple weekends ago, my good friend and fellow photographer Nick Krueck brought over a Mamiya RB67. We headed over to downtown Orlando and drove around a few blocks before seeing our first subject. He was an older man, asleep in a small park. As we approached him he twitched and moved around as if he was having a bad dream. We tried to decide weather or not to wake him up for a portrait or if we should leave him be. We decided against it but I was able to move close enough to get the shot I wanted.

I drove out to Debary, FL the other day to photograph two wonderful models, Mandy Murphy and Lauren Steil. I’ve photographed Mandy multiple times but this was the first opportunity I had to photograph Lauren. Previously located in Orlando, Ms. Steil now resides in Los Angeles, CA. She’s also a photographer with some very good work so check out her website. Anyway, we all got together and made it happen. The location was awesome but with the sun setting so early in the afternoon, it made the shoot a little shorter than I would have liked. Regardless, I was able to fill up a card and a little bit more space in my portfolio.

I’ll try my best to keep this updated a bit more. I have some awesome things to announce for 2010 so keep checking back to see whats up. Until then, enjoy.
